VASER ultrasound liposuction is significantly gentler than conventional methods. The ultrasound waves selectively dissolve fat cells without damaging surrounding tissue. This means: less swelling, fewer bruises, faster healing and an additional skin tightening effect through collagen stimulation.
Treatment of a single body zone takes approximately 1 hour. With multiple regions, the treatment extends to 1-2 hours total. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia or twilight sedation.
Initial results are visible 6-8 weeks after the procedure. The final result is achieved after approximately 6 months, when swelling has fully subsided and the skin tightening shows its full effect.
The treatment is performed under anaesthesia, so you feel no pain during the procedure. After surgery, mild swelling and pressure are normal and manageable with standard painkillers. These symptoms typically subside within a week.
